Why Jerusalem?
The town is a copy of Jerusalem from the 17th century. The marketplace is the valley of Jehoshaphat, and the hills are Sinai, Tabor, and Zion. The monumental tower dominates the wholeBasilicawith an illuminated facade.
⛪ What to visit?
- Basilica:Baroque interior with a wonderful statue of the Queen of the Families. Entrance via 33 steps (symbol of the age of Christ).
- Calvary:A complex of over 70 chapels on the hill opposite the basilica. A walk along the alleys with a view of Szczeliniec.
- Movable Nativity Scene:A masterpiece of 19th century mechanics. Over 800 figures, including 300 movable! (Clock mechanism).
