Geological Treasures of the World
Just 200 meters from the Bear Cave there is a private museum with great passion. You will see over 2,000 specimens from all over the world here! From giant quartz crystals (50 kg!) from the Alps, through Brazilian amethysts, to uniquedinosaur eggs(geodes).
What’s in the collection?
Room 1: Local Minerals
Treasures of the Śnieżnik Massif: fluorites (glow in UV!), amethysts and marbles from Kletno. You will find out what exactly is under your feet while walking.
Room 2: Treasures of the World
- Malachites from the Congo:Beautiful green patterns.
- Pyrite (“Fool’s Gold”):Golden cubes that have deceived many seekers.
- Brazilian agates:Large slices of colorful stones.
Room 3: Paleontology
Here you will go back in time. You will see petrifieddinosaur eggs, ammonites (snails from 200 million years ago) and the skull of a cave bear (15,000 years old!).
